Our ongoing project on Rowbotham St, Hyde is on a grander scale to our typical concrete house extension footing, or a garden shed slab. The project has been a huge challenge for the contractor, with a lot of balancing factors. At Rhino, we recognise that even as we are piling, caging and pouring concrete on this site in Hyde, we are just one of many factors for the whole operation. Because of this, we had made sure to be an efficient and quick service each time we visited the site for piling or to deliver concrete.
With the piling teams working hard to get the job ready for metalwork and concrete, we had to follow suit with team members Sam, Harrison, Jonty and Jayden, who were all making phenomenally fast progress. On 22nd November 2024, we poured 28 cubic-metres of concrete through CCP Pumping’s 24-metre boom pump into the footing for this plot, only taking three full concrete wagons and around 2.5 hours to complete. We were very pleased with the pace, and how everything went on this job, especially with it being so close to us in Hyde.
