Concrete & Piling in Stalybridge

The client

Having been trading for nearly 8 years, with many large-scale projects completed and ongoing, You New Home is a building contractor and real-estate company based in Audenshaw. Known for supplying quality work all the way through, we were eager to provide piling foundations and concrete.

The project

Once a site visit by ourselves had taken place, we were impressed with the level of excavating done by Your New Home, with the site being a cascading set of plots, four of which were piled by Rhino.

Initial access for the Piling Operatives was no issue despite the steep decline reaching down to the bottom two plots, which had since been stoned-up, making a much cleaner site for driving piles.

Both jobs were completed on time with no issues, which awarded Rhino another two plots that required our attention.

Concrete

The bottom two plots had a total of 101 piles driven, all of which needed filling with concrete. We wasted no time arranging for a volumetric concrete wagon and 24-metre concrete boom pump to achieve this.

The process could not have been made simpler for both Your New Home as the client, and ourselves as the supplier, and the result was all 101 piles filled with C35-grade concrete in one afternoon.
