What are the biggest gripes of ordering concrete at the moment?

We get it. Ordering concrete can sometimes be like ordering a takeaway: Sometimes they’re early and the food’s still hot, and then other times the food is extremely late and lukewarm. We HAVE to maintain a reputation as being the former, and not the latter, because not only are customers relying on us for consistency punctuality, so is Rhino Piling.

This is what I’m referring to when I say “We get it.”, we started out as a piling company! So, for a rare bit of insight into a unique sharing of opinions, here are some of the biggest gripes of booking in concrete:

  1. Turning up late – when you’ve been prepping the site for concrete to be there at 3pm and they delay it until 6pm, it’s enough to make you go mad. At Rhino, we’ll be early if anything else.
  2. Poor communication – I refer to the above point, the only thing worse than being late is not telling your customer you’re gonna be late. No excuses, a phone call is all it takes! We keep in contact with all of our customers on their order, and on a slower day we tend to call you with an exact ETA.
  3. Having poor conduct – if you’re like us, you’ll know the feeling when you’re talking with the contractor or homeowner of the project and when concrete arrives, the guys are using some colourful language or making comments they shouldn’t. You won’t get that from us. We have a zero-tolerance on such things, and encourage customers to let us know of any issues that arise on site.
  4. Not turning up at all! – Worse than all of the above: simply not turning up at all. At the end of the day, the one thing you want is concrete for when you ordered it. Our piling guys have told us of issues they’ve faced with other companies, which has helped us massively in prioritising the right things.

Our reviews speak for themselves when it comes to all of the issues listed above. We hope this gives you peace of mind!
